A gift that will last a life time

19 December 2018

The best gifts come from the heart, so forget high-end this Christmas, give a gift today to help protect our Park tomorrow!

We maintain more than 3,100 kilometres of paths and bridleways in the Lake District National Park! Millions of visitors, combined with our Cumbrian climate, means we are constantly improving and maintaining rights of way to keep this place special for everyone, forever.

Name a bridge, gate or fingerpost after your loved one and leave a lasting memory by having your plaque added to it. We frequently update our donations page with what you can sponsor, so please take a look and find your special place.

Below shows a before and after photo of a bridge that has been repaired using sponsorship money in Manesty, Borrowdale.

Have a magical Christmas and a happy New Year from all of us, at the Lake District National Park.
